HER MATTERS WOMEN'S ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM SET TO BEGIN

Women's health and maternal well-being is a universal priority. However, maternal mortality in subsaharan Africa has consistently been reported at over 300 deaths per 100,000 live births. There are equally unsettling statistics regarding teenage pregnancy. There is a paucity of programs that address the medical needs of teenage mothers. A rather large majority of young mothers do not receive the necessary social support to pursue their academic goals.

At Kubi Hospital, we are committed to the welfare of women through our Her Matters program. Her Matters is guided by respect and necessity for our women. Her Matters provides social support services to women of all ages. Through preventive women's health services, pre-teen sex education, teenage contraceptive care and maternal & birthing health services, Her Matters prioritizes the well-being of women.
